Oh my, this is so exciting! The first post EVER! *bounces up and down*
Fist, I am going to share with you my goals for the site. Gosh, this sounds so official.  ANYWAYS- I really want this become a satisfyingly active community with a healthy population. Advertising for Wingz when you visit your other ProBoards sites (or any other for that matter) will really help us all out. (oooh- That just gave me an idea for a new contest  )
I was in choir when the thought of a creating a readers' web site struck me. (like a thundar bolt it nare did!  ) Uh, let's just say choir isn't the most riveting class of the day for me, and I had no problem completely tuning out Mr. Eady. (gosh I make such sacrifices) Recently, I became aware of the fact that the year has been so busy I hadn't been reading near enough- so I started devouring books like chips again. Oh it felt good. Then I thought- I want somewhere to go where I can talk about books- and voila!
Rules.... rules... let's see....
1) ix-nay on the atspeak-chay (did I do the right?)- it makes me question intelligence levels.
2) No idiotic comments degrading other members.
3) Spamming ANYWHERE on the site is a no go. (there is a whole board dedicated to advertising for cripes sake)
4)Don't ask me for a staffing position. Actually, you can, but odds are in the act of begging your chances for the positions just flew out the window.
5)Perhaps most importantly, all images on this site are COPYRIGHTED! All of the logos, symbols, and images are my own creation. Most are edited photos I worked very hard on. But this rule extends to other members as well- do not steal ANYONE'S images on this site or a swift kicking out-ance will occur 
Um... I've never been good at rules... I think that should tide us over. Hopefully. *attacks you*
